PRP's Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub is built for off-road and the abuse that comes with it. Each is made from solid billet aluminum, and then anodized black for durability. This hub allows you to quickly disconnect the steering wheel. This is helpful in vehicles with tight space where its hard to get in and out with the steering wheel in the way, or just for some extra anti-theft protection! Each Hub has machined with finely tuned splines tolerances, so you will have minimal movement in the wheel. We made the release handle extra wide on the hub, so it's easy to grip and disconnect even when you have race gloves on. Designed with a 6-point bolt pattern to work with our PRP Steering Wheels (and the majority of other aftermarket steering wheels).
UNIVERSAL WELD ON The quick release hub comes with a universal center spline that can be welded to the steering column of almost any Jeep, Truck, or Buggy. Shaft diameter on the spline is 3/4"
(Note: A steering wheel puller may be necessary to remove the OEM wheel).
This definitely fits well and hold firmly, but the value is not what I anticipated. The fasteners are silver and stick out like a sore thumb. The mount between the plate and the clamp seems to made out of PETG 3D printed material, it could have at least been a more sturdy material. The mount should also be printed with a few more layers in height to give a bit more clearance. Although not NEEDED, a sheet with quick instructions would have been nice as well. I would recommend this for a 2026 Pro XP, but it should be about 50% off its current price.
It really fits perfectly on my 2026 polaris xp 4 1000 turbo. Very easy to put on and if it came stock it couldn't have been any better. Glad i chose this one when i bought.
