Important Note
The bolts are designed without shanks to ensure the shoulder passes through both sides of the mounting bracket.Thread lengths and shank lengths are similar to stock, aiming to replace the undersized hardware of older models.
Product came packaged nicely, quality powder coating, bolted up without too much drama, installed supplied lugs and mounted spare. Good solid design, not flexing or rattling.
Shipping was fast and parts arrived as expected. The install was relatively easy. I did have to narrow the extension brackets for the lap belt just a little to fit into the mounting location. This was on a 2025 machine so I’m unsure if this is due to Yamaha making a minor change to the mounting locations. It was nothing that a few minutes with a dremmel couldn’t handle. Adding the harnesses is one of the best mods I’ve done to my machine!
