Black is a solid cover in case you have local laws that prohibit you from running accessory lights on the highway or you just want to protect the lens.
If you own a Yamaha YXZ 1000R then this is a must have for the Milwaukee packout products, the only downfall is that you have to get at least 1/4" longer bolts due to the stock bolts will not work, they should include these with it
