AVID YXZ1000 MTR72 Front Mid-Travel Race Kit, 72-Inch
After years of perfecting our LT and XC kits for the YXZ1000, we have listened and responded with this perfected 72" Mid-Travel. After taking all suggestions into consideration and compiled them into what is now the highest quality and preforming 72" kit on the market. Providing 4inch over per side, this suspension has been race proven and perfected. Our AVID geometry has been adjusted to fit the 72" version providing the proper KPI, Caster, and Bump Steer you have know and loved. Made from 4130 Chromoly, using our 7/8 "stem cup" for ultimate strength, and fully TIG welded. 3/4 heim joints attach the suspension to the chassis to add safety and adjust ability. Front shock location is moved to lower arm and relocated proper angle. 7/8 uniballs attach the front 7075 Billet uprights to the A arms. All pivot points have been converted to double sheer for ultimate strength. The final topper is that we will provide all pieces in one complete kit fully BOLT ON ready. No more welding or modification required.

Product came packaged nicely, quality powder coating, bolted up without too much drama, installed supplied lugs and mounted spare. Good solid design, not flexing or rattling.
Shipping was fast and parts arrived as expected. The install was relatively easy. I did have to narrow the extension brackets for the lap belt just a little to fit into the mounting location. This was on a 2025 machine so I’m unsure if this is due to Yamaha making a minor change to the mounting locations. It was nothing that a few minutes with a dremmel couldn’t handle. Adding the harnesses is one of the best mods I’ve done to my machine!
