Fastlab has finally come up with a solution to the passenger calf hitting the plastic below the seat. Many shorter passengers cannot reach the dead pedal in the passenger footwell area, leaving their feet and calves to hit the plastic that surrounds the fuel tank. Rather than make it single use, we added the versatility of our Molle Plate. The 16" x 10" MOLLE layout allows you to mount dry boxes, Rotopax fuel cans, first aid kits, or small ice chests. The 3 bracket system mounts directly to the passenger footwell using 4 supplied bolts.
Easy to install, 15 minutes. Doesn't allow tall riders to use full well area any longer. Great product for short riders that need the height from the floor especially with aftermarket seats. Use of one cup holder is gone when installed.

It's a great item with very purposeful intent. I do think it could be a little smaller in two ways.
1. The 2 pieces that support the footrest plate could be a little shorter, closer to the floor so the foot plate is not quite so high.
I find the footrest to be a great idea for those whose feet do not reach the floor for support. But, if you are taking someone for a ride with longer legs who would not need it, it's a bit of a pain to remove the unit for those who don't need it.
2. The foot plate could be cut in the lower left-hand corner to follow the contours of the cup holders.

Perfect solution to my problem!
My 7 year old son is my riding buddy. His legs being shorter, this was the perfect solution! This allows me to drive more aggressively without worrying about him not being able to support hisself properly with his feet and legs. Espeacially while being sinched down in a harness.

YXZ Foot Rest
I absolutely love the product. Easy install and was surprised by how much usable space it creates. Wife complained about vibration on her feet. Might be my machine. Just put a couple rubber bushings between the plate and mounts. Still 5 stars.
I really like the steps — the skid plastic does not line up the middle bows out n matter how many times u flip it - as your flipping them to the other side in hopes it lines up better the bolts strip out — u pay that kind of money you would think that it would look right n not some afterthought -
